Meet the Girl Dinner Set.

This little two-piece set was designed for exactly the kind of meals I seem to eat most often. A little bit of this, a little bit of that, something saucy, something snacky, maybe an entire meal that technically makes no sense together but somehow works perfectly.

Each set includes two pieces:

A bowl plate approximately 8 inches wide by 2 inches tall.

A smaller plate approximately 7 inches wide by 1 1/2 inches tall.

And I really want to emphasize the word approximately.

These are individually handmade pieces of pottery. Measurements, width, depth, shape, profile, glaze application and finish are all going to vary slightly from piece to piece.

The sets are sold as a pair, but there may be multiples available in the same colour and general style. So if you want to put together a larger dish set and, for example, four Girl Dinner Sets are available, you can absolutely purchase multiples.

Just know that you are not going to receive eight identical dishes.

They’re cousins, not identical twins.

Even within the same colour and design, one bowl plate might be a little wider, another a little deeper, one plate may have a slightly different curve, and there will naturally be variations in the glaze. That is intentional and part of buying handmade pottery.

Personally, I think that is what makes a handmade dish collection so beautiful. Instead of opening a cupboard full of identical factory-produced dishes, every piece has its own little personality while still belonging together as a collection.

A few important handmade notes:

Every piece is individually handmade from Canadian clay in my one-woman studio in Alberta, Canada. These are handmade pieces of functional art, not factory-produced dinnerware. Variations in size, shape, depth, width, glaze, texture and finish are part of the process and should be expected.

If you are looking for perfectly identical dishes with exact measurements and completely uniform glaze application, handmade pottery probably isn’t the right choice for you.

They are dishwasher safe, and I put my own pottery in the dishwasher, but handwashing and careful handling are always recommended if you want to give handmade pottery the gentlest possible treatment.

For Canadian orders, I currently ship with Canada Post.

For U.S. orders, I ship with DHL. Please remember that you are purchasing handmade goods from Canada. Depending on current U.S. import rules, your order may be subject to duties, taxes, tariffs, brokerage, or other import charges. Those charges are the responsibility of the purchaser, so if you have concerns, please check the current import requirements before ordering.

I also do not guarantee shipping or delivery dates. I am not a big box store. Everything is made, finished, packed and shipped by me while I continue running my regular production schedule. I always try to get orders packed and on their way in a timely manner, but handmade pottery operates on handmade pottery time.
